We're a little disappointed in the depth. There are a lot of kids who worked pretty hard in the weight room this summer and aren't quite living up to what I think they should be doing. But it's still early and we've had a couple guys step up.

They were gaining some momentum there but overall I still felt we were in pretty good shape. I felt a lot better after that.

My biggest concern coming in was having two junior quarterbacks, I won't deny that. I feel real good.

We got a little conservative because we certainly wanted to make sure we got the win.

There were a lot of times tonight when there weren't big holes there, there were seams. He sees that and he's such a good north-south runner.

When you have to run that race or get out on that mat, you're the guy. Boy, that helps. That just helps you develop that character and how you handle adversity.

We knew Prairie was probably not going to go away and that their coaches would challenge them at halftime and they'd come out and respond.

He was the anchor of our line last year. He's always been mentally tough. That's why he was able to play as a sophomore. He's just so tough that he's able to put up with the things that go along with it, tough practices and coaching and all of that.

Overall I thought he played very very well. He's got the ability to change plays out there for us and he did some things there that I liked as well. He's such a competitor. When he's running the ball, people are going to realize he's a threat there as well. I feel kind of blessed having quarterbacks who hurt people a lot of different ways the last couple years.
