Our forwards have been flat out battling. They know to be aggressive with those big kids. The key was keeping her out of the game.

They really had five guards out there.

To have an eighth-grader step up like this is awesome. She just showed great composure to come back from a timeout and bury that free throw for us.

We don't win the game without Gloria. As good as Bridget (Ryan) has been, she was a little tight early. Gloria helped us weather that.

We had a sense of urgency in the second quarter. We knew we couldn't get down any further. We've been in that situation a lot (this year).

Maybe it was meant to be. We've been in these kinds of games all year. It's obviously (not) the same kind of pressure, but we learned under that adversity.

There have been no Vince Lombardi speeches, no gimmick stats. We haven't had to motivate them that way, they do it intrinsically, they want to dive on the floor.
