Zach's leadership out there, the way he comes at the game and plays, it's going to be missed, ... I want Zach ... to get himself better because we need him.

He's a good player, I give him that. At the same time . . . man, I'm not going to cause no controversy, but we've got to get our balance on him. I've got to get on him as far as like attacking him. When I say that, I would like to have more runs right at him. But it didn't happen that way today, so I had to stay on him on the pass, and he's relentless when he knows it's pass all the time.

There was a lot of chaos here last year. It wasn't too uniform. Things changed from week to week, which caused confusion. Now the system is always consistent.

We did well today.

Six bags of saline, ... That's how long it took my body to unlock, for my muscles to relax. I thought that weight trainer was going to get fired.

I had confidence in the play. I thought it was an aggressive play. We have the line aggressively slanting down, showing run. I think it was a great call. They're expecting run, we throw the ball. If he made the catch and we score, it's a great call. I had all the confidence in that call.

We did well today. Nothing is perfect, but we have things to build off of.
