I hadn't run the two mile since states so there was a little concern coming in. It's been a while since I've had to deal with the two mile, but it actually felt so much easier (than the 1,600).

It feels awesome to put my name up there with the others that have done it. Plus it gives me a lot of confidence going into nationals (Nike Indoor Nationals, March 11-12 at the Prince George's Sports Complex in Landover, Md.).

Going to the bowl and coming out, that's the mile that makes or breaks races.

It's role reversal. Now, I'm the upperclassman. I think it's pretty cool. We have some good freshmen, and I'm going to try and help them out.
