Marcus is such a fast learner. For a rookie, he's picked up our offense pretty well. All the pressure surrounding what we have to know, even in meetings, doesn't seem to bug him.
They made their decision, and I've got no one to blame but myself. They gave me a chance, and I blew it. Now I've got to help the team any way I can.
It's still vivid in my mind. I can still picture that whole day.
We practice against a great defense every day. It's just very disappointing that we couldn't get in the end zone.
He proved himself last year. He's a good running back. When we needed him to step up last year, he did. And we're looking for him to do the same this year.
He knows the blocking schemes before we do them.
We put ourselves in this situation. It's not like anyone else did anything but us. It'll hurt you when you put your destiny in someone else's hands, so to speak. You can't do it. You've just got to be consistent and win the games you should win.
Booger is quick and strong. Real quick and strong.
The challenge isn't to replace his shoes, because I can't. Our styles are different. He's actually good. I'm not.
