"Corey S. Nakatani" (born October 21, 1970 in Covina, California, United States) is an United States/American Thoroughbred horse racing jockey. He got his big break in 1990 when he rode Itsallgreektome to win big stakes races.
Nakatani currently resides on the Southern California circuit of Santa Anita, Hollywood, and Del Mar. On October 8, 2011, he won 6 races in one day including two grade one victories.

Turning for home, I shook the reins at him and he just took off. I really wasn't worried about anybody else, it was just a matter of how much I was going to win by.
Fortunately, Lava Man was on his A-game.
I think he's back to his old self. John's one of the best at getting them ready. I'm looking forward to seeing what he can do.

I wasn't surprised by anything he did this afternoon. I could not have been more pleased with the way he was traveling underneath me. He was relaxed. I really think the sky is the limit with this horse.
