It's always been a one-point match (between those two). We've always won, but it's been close.

In all three of them, the style is pretty much the same. But Josh is more laid-back, and you have to motivate him. Blaine, you really have to coax, but that's just maturity with him. But take those two out of the lineup, and it puts a big dent in us.

We came out sluggish. I don't know why. It might have been because we had a long time between weigh-in and when we were supposed to wrestle.

We wrestled better than we did in the first. We got after the guys, and they wanted to get to the state final.

I can't say enough about this group. They're a special group, and most of them will be back next season.

One match could swing one way or another, you just never know until you get out there.

I told them to get it in gear. Even in the end they looked sluggish.

West Laurens has never been back-to-back in anything. State titles have been hard to come by. There were three in wrestling, two in basketball and one in softball.

I didn't get much of a look, because I was so frustrated at what was going on over here.
