Zach will eventually have to win it (a world title) on the road, likely in Las Vegas, but when he's successful, we plan to defend the title here in Duluth. No matter how successful Zach is, we should be able to control where he fights. Why should Vegas get all the big money for their town?

Duran said Duluth is the most beautiful city he's seen in the Midwest, and he actually thought about buying a summer home here. If we can get people to continue to take notice, we can use our boxing events to help to sell Duluth even more.

I tried to have Zach take a dance class, and he just about died laughing at me. Two days after a bout, he'll be back at the gym, looking at me with puppy-dog eyes and asking if he can start training again. He can't help it. That's his passion.
