We've given up some hits here and there, but they've been keeping the ball in front and making plays like they're supposed to.

We weren't swinging the bats really well. Southern has a great pitching staff and probably the best hitting team they've had, and we held them to only eight hits all weekend.

I think we've played a good, strong schedule. Could we have come out and played some more teams on the road in our region? Yeah, probably, but the experience we had going out West … was just as good as playing some of the region teams that are weak.
