"Christopher 'Chris' Charles Eric Woods" is a former England national football team/England international Association football/football goalkeeper (association football)/goalkeeper, who played in the Football League and Premier League for Nottingham Forest F.C./Nottingham Forest, Queens Park Rangers F.C./Queens Park Rangers, Norwich City F.C./Norwich City, Sheffield Wednesday F.C./Sheffield Wednesday, Reading F.C./Reading, Southampton F.C./Southampton and Burnley F.C./Burnley, in the Scottish Football League for Rangers F.C./Rangers, and in Major League Soccer for the Colorado Rapids. He was working as the goalkeeping coach at Everton F.C./Everton and United States men's national soccer team/United States. But, with the departure of David Moyes, he followed him to Manchester United F.C./Manchester United to replace Eric Steele as the new goalkeeping coach.

Woods was Peter Shilton's long-time understudy in the England team in the mid to late 1980s, finally claiming the number one shirt for himself in the early 1990s. In all, he managed to accrue 43 caps in an eight-year international career.

The earnings so far are not inspiring but it's the guidance people are looking at, not the numbers, and this has not been wonderful.

He brings a lot of energy to the field. Like any freshman in our scheme, it can be fairly overwhelming at times. But he brings tremendous energy and is a strong guy.
