Some games you need to use as learning tools. They pass the puck well, shoot it and play good hockey. It's good for our girls to see that. There's a lot to learn from a team like that.

Hope is a solid defense person. She's got a very long reach that messes up a lot of forwards that are coming down. She played well tonight. Everyone played well on defense.

To win a play off game in a first year program is spectacular.

She plays defense, but we gave her the green light to decided when she thought she could take it up and take the shot as well as be back on defense if she had too. She did a great job of covering both ends of the ice. Her stamina is incredible.

We played well, but it's a learning experience to see what Division I hockey is like. We now know what it is like at the next level.

We have come to look at this as a building year. Next year, we hope to be a contender.

It was a very even game. These two teams have grown up together, and I think they really bring out the best in each other.

It was nerves. As soon as they got the puck on the stick, they were trying to get rid of it instead of skating with it or trying to set up a play.
