There are just some nights that you just don't put the ball in the hole and, tonight, we certainly didn't do that. We just have to be a little bit smarter and get better.

I thought our effort was pretty good, defensively. They play that crazy zone and they really pressure the ball. We just did not pass the ball crisply to get people good looks. When we did get good looks, we didn't knock them down.

We can play with anybody. We have enough offensive power ... and we're just gonna keep getting better.

Again, our guys off the bench stepped up. We knew we were going to have to get stops. We started doubling Knowles and I think that was effective.

We shot the ball well and that usually makes good things happen. (Bracken County) was undermanned and that really made it tough for them. We were able take advantage and get some turnovers and some easy baskets. When they went to the zone, we were able to knock some shots down.

Campbell County will play extremely hard. They're going to get after us and we're going to have to handle the ball better than we did tonight or we're not going to be happy with the outcome.

I'm proud of our effort. They get it out quick and advance it down the floor ... finally we got some stops to get back in the game.

We just didn't answer the bell. We didn't come out ready to handle their physical play. We knew that's what they were going to do because that's what Scott County always does. Our turnovers led to some easy baskets for them. We're disappointed in our effort, but we're going to put this one behind us and move on.
