Our defense did an unbelievable job. For three-and-a-half quarters, they did an amazing job and we did not get it done on offense. Our offensive staff, starting with me, has got to step it up.

While getting a rhythm of playing every week is nice it gave our kids a chance to see just how fast, and big and strong Naples is. So from that perspective it was good to be able to see a team.

We hope he goes to Florida and keeps improving. If he does that, the sky is the limit. He's really an untapped talent. When he (joined the football team) he didn't fully understand the game and its idiosyncrasies.

It's like anything else. In the course of recruiting, they (the Gators) called last weekend. They said they felt they had slighted him a little bit.

He's a throwback kid. These days, every kid has a cell phone, but he doesn't.
