He has matured a lot since last year. Another key to his game so far this season has been his ability to stay focused throughout the entire game.

I think we forced a few turnovers, but we forced a few tough shots. Then we got a little more patient on offense and got some good shots for our scorers.

I think one other aspect of him that it pretty unique is he is such a good player and student plus how he's behaved off the court.

Chris Santos hit a huge shot. It was a great battle between two of the top players in the league. Our Dan Cook won the MVP and Santos was the runner-up. But Chris Santos just keeps coming at you.

He never takes any shortcuts. If there's a loose ball to be had, he'll be first to the floor. He figures out all the ways to help a team besides shooting and scoring.
