FameRank: 8

"Christopher Wesson "Chris" Bosh" is an American professional basketball player who currently plays for the Miami Heat of the National Basketball Association (NBA). A high school "Mr. Basketball" in Texas, Bosh left college at Georgia Institute of Technology/Georgia Tech after one season with the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets men's basketball team to enter the 2003 NBA Draft. He was selected fourth overall by the Toronto Raptors in a very competitive draft class that included multiple future NBA superstars such as LeBron James, Dwyane Wade, and Carmelo Anthony. While at Toronto, Bosh emerged as one of the young stars in the league; he became a five-time List of NBA All-Stars/NBA All-Star, was named to the All-NBA second team once, appeared for the United States national basketball team/US national team (with whom he won a gold medal at the 2008 Olympics), and supplanted former fan-favorite Vince Carter as the face and leader of the Raptors Professional sports league organization/franchise.

We believe in ourselves and I believe in everybody here, that we can prove everybody wrong.

I just appreciate the battle that we had. I was trying to stop him, he was trying to stop me, and all in all it was just a great competition.

I haven't won on my birthday since college, so it's good to play hard and get a win by double figures.

They play pretty good without Iverson. They have a lot of guys who really step up to the plate and accept that challenge without him. It's still really a good team without him.

Sometimes when I have a 1-on-1 advantage and teams don't do a good job of either doubling or clogging the paint, that works to my advantage.

It's all about concentration and repetition. That's all it is.

You play anybody and if they shoot 70 per cent from three, they're going to be tough to beat.

I think coach knows I can make plays. He wanted to get me over the hump with plays like that because we play of lot of games where we're in that situation.

They executed well, they made a bunch of tough shots. When you play a team like that, you look at them, and you can learn a lot.
