Stealing 50 bases is a great accomplishment; I credit my work ethic. I thanked all of my teammates because they let me steal the bases in front of them.

He kept the ball down and it's tough to hit when he's keeping the ball down.

I hit ninth the first month, and to be in the top 10 in runs scored, that's putting in a lot of work. There was a stretch where I went 1 for 30 and I was hitting ninth. That's why stolen bases are not even important. It's getting over so guys can get you in.

He's done it over the years, but to see it in person was more special.

I was shooting for a more important number -- 100 runs. It means I've been getting on base. Stealing 50 bases is a great accomplishment. I'm pleased with my work ethic to get here.

The stuff drives you crazy, if you let it. That's why you can't scoreboard watch. It doesn't do any good 'cause you don't know who to root for anyway.

I went around thanking my teammates, ... If those guys aren't taking pitches so I can run, I wouldn't get the opportunities. More importantly, I'm shooting for 100 runs (he has 96), because that means I'm getting on base.

That's our game and that's my job, to create havoc. If the stolen base is there, I'll take it, but it's not just stealing bases; it's going first to third and taking the extra base. We have to keep up the pressure.

We've got a first baseman, shortstop and second baseman that I think should win a Gold Glove. Those guys are great in the infield.
