They were young back then, and they've grown up since. And it's obvious.

A lot of it depends on which young men we can get to play. There's a lot of talent in the South, and if we can get the best players I like our chances.

They're big on the line of scrimmage and have speed to burn in the backfield. They just line eight people up in the box and just try to wear people down. And they've been very successful at it so far.

We didn't tackle very well. When you have good backs like that, you have to get a hat on them. We had a little momentum in the third quarter, but the turnovers hurt. They made big play after big play. We bent too much on defense.

Christian has to realize he has a man's body and tremendous speed. He knew last week that he was going to have to carry the load for us and he did a great job. He carried it 25 times for 145 yards and acted like he'd been in there the entire time. He's really grown up, and I think he's ready to take that next step.

We have to tackle better and take care of ourselves better. We put this one behind us. We regroup and do a better job.

By the end of last year they were getting better and were a lot more experienced. They had a bunch of young backs that we knew would eventually be tough to deal with and that we'd have our hands full trying to stop them.

We just have to regroup against Riverside and try to get us a playoff berth.

It's a huge game, not only because it's Homecoming, but beating someone as highly ranked as Beckley gives you huge bonus (ratings) points because you know they are only going to continue to win more ball games.
