He got a little emotional over at Holy Cross when he talked to the players and had to say goodbye there. He composed himself, looked the players straight in the eye and he said, 'I'm sorry that you had to see my emotional side, but that's the way I am and I expect the same out of you. I want you to play with emotion and passion.' And I think the message was very well received.

They got the first goal and we needed to relax a little bit. Instead, we missed some shots, their keeper made a couple of good saves and you could see the frustration.

It's an opportunity for us to see teams from districts around us that we don't normally get to see. And it's a way to play your way back into playing shape after being on spring break for a week.

He's just a driven kid. He's just made tremendous strides throughout his career because he wanted it.
