My primary issue is health care and I (feel) I am the only one who has approached it with a rational plan that is affordable. What I don't want is the Canadian plan where a person goes to the doctor 200 times a year because they are lonely.

Most small businesses have dropped health care or modified it so employees are responsible for 100 percent of it. That's not health care coverage. I also want to lower the age for Medicare coverage to birth.

I've been here since 1969. I could never leave this corner of the state because I love it.

I want the tax payers to look at taxes the way a banker looks at the prime rate. With a flat tax, Congress would have to send their grade cards annually to the taxpayers.

I think everyone believes the income tax system is not too understandable. I'm proposing the flat tax to get rid of deductions. However I would include a $15,000 dependency deduction so a family of four wouldn't pay taxes until they reach over $60,000 in taxable income.
