We need to increase our crews. It's not limited to being a guy. We have one female officiating.

We lose and gain about five officials in a year. Sometimes injuries occur, so the more the better.

It's a good thing to do. You don't have to have played football. Some of our better officials have never played football. We're always looking for good officials.

It's a whole lot easier to call games from the stands. It's a whole lot quicker on the field. People don't understand the rules in high school are a lot different than college or the pros.

I encourage all to do it. It keeps you active. You have everything paid for by the end of the first month.
