We're disappointed to be in this game, but happy at the same time after the overtime win (Friday). The seniors had some goals and that's what we were playing for today.
We've had a lot of one-goal games this season. We don't seem to hit panic buttons. We have a lot of confidence we can come back.
To get a goal 30 seconds into the game is how you want to start.
I think they had a good game plan in place. We were never able to find the middle of the ice. Give Central credit, they locked up the neutral zone.
It was a typical Devils Lake-Minot game. We had a bunch of chances in the first, they had some good chances in the second and the third period was just a battle.
They were on the power play. They had one more guy in front of the net than we did.
They called a timeout and worked hard to get back.
In the last six or seven minutes, they locked up everyone in the neutral zone. Central worked extremely hard. They worked as hard as they have all season.
It's a typical Minot-Devils Lake game. It was up and down the ice, and offensive chances are tough to come by.
