We're a pretty young team. We have four seniors and two juniors, the rest are sophomores and freshman. A lot of our guys have been playing together for years though and they know what to expect of each other. They like the game and they know what they're doing out there. We just need to get some repetitions ? at the plate and in the field ? and I think they'll come along very well.

In the second inning we made two consecutive errors and they scored two runs us. And then they had three singles right in a row to start the fifth inning and that opened the floodgates.

They (Rice) scored a few runs in the first couple of innings and held on. That seems be our thing this year. Give up runs before we settle down and then can't seem to get back.

I know how I am. I know how I've been working. So, I'll get better. I'm going to get better.

They (the Vandals) will come out and compete hard. But I think we're prepared. We should take care of business.

I think it (the No. 5 seed) is great. It's great for our university, our team, to get such a high seed. Obviously, it's a compliment to us on the body of our work.
