We're not an easy band to describe. There's a lot of depth to our music. It was like do we re-explain ourselves to someone else or do we go with (a company) that really already has a good idea of what we're about and we've worked with before? It just turned out that we did go back to them. Some of the other labels were like, 'I can't believe you did that.' But you know, it was the right move.

When Universal walked into the room, they brought literally like 120 people with them. All of the other labels might walk in with nine, eight people, 12 people. And we were like wow, this is really cool.
