We are asking people not to smoke anywhere on campus, including parking lots. We know everyone's not going to love this, but positive responses (from the public) have far outweighed the negative.

I think we're ready. We have really done a lot of planning for this. We've used repetition to get information out in as many ways as we can think of, because we know it's going to be a long time before everybody hears about it.

We have had very good participation in smoking cessation classes, especially as the date nears.

Our security staff will be monitoring entrances, but all of our employees have been trained in how to politely approach someone and ask them not to smoke.
