It really is a historical event. Before this, I worked in a little portable classroom that nobody else wanted to use. It's really no way to serve kids and it's no way to treat staff. I think what we're starting to do is begin making new facilities for these kids. It's really what we ought to do.

I think we're on the right track. We can now finally have classrooms at the schools, where we can collaborate with other classrooms and interact with other teachers.

I really think we are making headway. Not only are we raising kids' consciousness but also staff members. Some kids are tasting things they've never tasted before.
