In the past, when we had the more difficult budget years, it was considered successful if we were able to retain $65 million in general fund money for the Centennial Highway Fund.

Five years from now, we'd find our system very much in a point of failure. We would not be able to carry the amount of people we need to carry.

I would say we are much more on that side . . . The administration (of Gov. Jon Huntsman Jr.) is supportive of new concepts and is looking for the implementation of HOT lanes sooner rather than later.

This represents a huge milestone for us in the state of Utah.
