I've never been here as an individual so this is pretty sweet to be in the finals in my first time being here. Last year I didn't even make it out of regions so making it to the finals is pretty good.

I wasn't thinking I was out of it at all. I didn't play very well in the first set, he broke me on serve every time. I just needed that first set to be able to mentally be back in it.
