Hopefully, with this new contract, that will change things. You can't have certain guys out there just out there to do nothing.

To me it was more than a walk-through. I had to do a little more conditioning after practice to show the coaches I was in shape, which was no problem for me. I kind of took this as a mini-practice because everyone else was walking through (plays) and I'm the only guy running routes. It was fun. It was exciting to be back.

I was more concentrating on making sure that I got my steps down, that my routes were looking all right. I wasn't worried about getting a ball. I just wanted to get back in the swing of things and get all the anxiety out.

He'll bounce back. It will make him stronger as a person. Mentally, he'll be focused. He'll come back a lot stronger than what he was. He's going to concentrate on that knee so much he'll have to strengthen those muscles in both legs. I see him coming back faster and stronger.

I'm in pretty good shape. As far as football shape, I don't know. Football shape is totally different from running (shape), so we'll see.

I didn't want to be one of those players who bounced from team to team, changing jersey colors, jersey numbers. I started here and I wanted to finish here. Now, I want to win here.

[PLAY OF THE DAY: For a guy who missed 27 days of training camp, TE Bubba Franks didn't look rusty at all. He made several nice catches on passes from QB Brett Favre and one of his several deep seam route receptions came from rookie QB Aaron Rodgers .] I guess they wanted to see if I could catch the deep ball, ... I'm surprised they gave me so many today.
