"Brooks Michael Bollinger" is a former American football quarterback and current coach. He was drafted by the New York Jets in the sixth round of the 2003 NFL Draft. He played college football at the Wisconsin Badgers football/University of Wisconsin.

Bollinger has also been a member of the Minnesota Vikings, New York Jets, Dallas Cowboys, and Detroit Lions.

Bollinger announced his intention to retire from professional football in January, 2011.

Some might look down at you for being the No. 3 quarterback on the team, ... but shoot, I'm still on an NFL roster. I never expected growing up to be an NFL quarterback, and I'm fortunate to have this chance.

A lot of good quarterbacks in this league have taken different routes to be a starter in the NFL, ... It's not always a straight line.

I'm just going to try and execute the plays that they call, knowing that I have an understanding of how to manage a football game and what I need to do to help the team win. I'm not trying to make it into rocket science.
