"Brigitte Anne-Marie Bardot" is a French former actress, singer and fashion model, who later became an animal rights activist. She was one of the best known sex symbols of the 1950s and 1960s and was widely referred to by her initials. Bardot was an aspiring ballerina in early life. She started her acting career in 1952 and after appearing in 16 routine comedy films, with limited international release, became world-famous in 1957, with the controversial film And God Created Woman (1956 film)/And God Created Woman. Bardot caught the attention of French intellectuals. I have been very happy, very rich, very beautiful much adulated, very famous and very unhappy.

Women get more unhappy the more they try to liberate themselves.

It is not fatness! It is development.

It is sad to grow old but nice to ripen.

I can't do the same thing every night, the same gestures... it's like putting on dirty panties every day.

I gave my beauty and my youth to men. I am going to give my wisdom and experience to animals.

I leave before being left. I decide.

What could be more beautiful than a dear old lady growing wise with age? Every age can be enchanting, provided you live within it.
