Week to week, Steve is our most solid scorer. I don't see him not being at No. 1 unless he doesn't want to be there for some reason. Our experience has to be a strength.

All of the guys have to think along the lines they have to score on their own. They can't rely on someone else to play better. Playing just well enough to win won't get it done. From what I've seen, these guys don't have that kind of attitude.

They have rivalries among each other to score the best, but it never gets to the point where they don't want to see each other do well. I think that's important.

I think that's the first time we've shot par on a course and we haven't played there before. The first couple of hole were wide open but the last four were pretty tough, so I'm pleased.

The boys want a trophy. I think we can compete with anyone in the state. I don't see a reason why we can't.

I think we're still getting into form. Today was OK, but we're not where we want to be. I didn't see a lot of smiles as the guys were coming off the course, so I think they feel that way too.
