There are the kind (of films) where you are entertained and the kind where you are edified.
At first, we'll be centered toward children ages 9 to 18, and some college kids. We hope some high school students will get hooked and go off to big film schools.
We will not only teach film but will also do some production and distribution.
We focus so much on special effects and sound effects that we are shortchanging the audience on stories. ... We want to return to making movies that stir the heart, challenge the mind and feed the soul. When is the last time you saw a movie that moved your heart in such a way that your thought 'I'm changed because of what I saw'?
