We have to be ready to play from start to finish. I give Canon-McMillan credit. They put the ball in play, played great defense and got great pitching. They gave themselves a chance to win. We didn't do that in the first three innings.

The section is tough. There isn't one dominant team, but that's the good thing about it. It's a competitive section.

We need some pitchers to step up and take charge and want the ball when the game is on the line. I think we have some guys that are ready to do that.

Our goal is to make the playoffs and do well.

Joey and Josh both threw strikes, but you can't have five errors and expect to win.

It wasn't pretty, but we did what it took to win it. After we got into the game, it came down to one at-bat, one pitch at a time. We overcame a lot of adversity.

I think there is always room for improvement from game to game, but we just have to stay focused. And we want to have fun, stay loose and play with confidence.

I think versatility is a strength. We have a lot of guys that we can move around.

I was happy with how we played in the fourth, fifth and sixth innings. But it was too little, too late.
