I had an amicable chat yesterday (Wednesday) and he said there were other clubs were interested. I made him an offer and gave him a deadline, but I've pulled out now.

I've spoken to him. A couple of other clubs are also interested, so it's up to him now.

As a manager you're always disappointed to see good players leave but Jon is going to a good club and it really is a brilliant move for him.

He has outstanding ability. He's played in the Premiership and can go past people. Fans love to see players take people on and that's what he does - he's a real handful.

That's nine games now without a loss, we go to Wycombe on Monday and again three points is the main thing. We're having a good spell.

We must now get some momentum going.
