We calmed down (on offense) and took what they gave us.

I definitely think we deserved to get in with the season we've had. We've kind of been planning all along for a trip like this, but I think the boys deserve it.

We said to our seniors, bad game going out, great season going out. There's a big difference there. They never gave up, they never quit. They were bound and determined to turn this program around.

I knew we wouldn't see any more adversity than (Thursday) night. I knew if we could keep our composure in that game, then we would be ready for anything that Statesville could throw at us.

The safety of our people and our operation is really our highest priority.

West Rowan came out and played like the No. 1 team in the conference. They smacked us in the mouth. We challenged the guys in the locker room. I'm proud of their effort in the second half.

Now it's going to be a waiting game. I don't think we're done yet.
