They can face it together instead of individually. Being able to come to basketball meant they take their minds off of things for a couple hours.

I've been able to bond with him as a coach. And it's been hard on me. I couldn't imagine what they are going through.

He was probably our hardest worker on the team. His work ethic will carry on for years and years in some of our younger kids. He showed them this is what it takes to be successful.
