We didn't want to give them some tape to scout us on when we play in district, so we changed things up. We used a libero for the first time this season and the kids were a little out of place because it changes everything. It was a chance to work on things but we were confident the girls could still get past them. It was nice to get a win against a district opponent.

It was really tough to play as well as we did and come up with a loss. We hit and passed extremely well, but Nocona was at its best.

Playing all of those good 4A and 5A schools will only make us better when we get to district. This week we did not play at the level we have been the last few weeks. For whatever reason, we just went through the motions in all of the matches. It just wasn't our weekend.

We took a step in the right direction tonight. What a great way to go into a tough tournament like the Graham tournament we have this weekend.

Mallory had a great tournament and she is just a sophomore. She only had one hitting error in all of the games, which is pretty amazing.
