Irwin and Scherer pretty well dominated. Those two are wrestling about the best they can right now. Kiefer comes into the tournament 2-0, and coming off mono to finish second. That's phenomenal for him.

Irwin has been banged up a little bit. We had the meet in hand so he didn't have to go at 110 percent. He'll be more aggressive on Saturday.

We won't take them lightly. They're the best in that area. We'll come in and see what we can do and we want to wrestle well. We've been upset before (In this meet). 1997 comes to mind.

We need to get a bunch of guys to go in there and wrestle like they're capable of wrestling. We need to stay away from major upsets.

It's kinda like our conference, we need to score in every weight class and the kids need to be in the top four.

At that point the team score was 31-3 so at the moment he was going for the win for himself. That's fine. I told the kids if they were in that situation that they should go for it.

It was a convincing win for Nelson. Irwin and Scherer pretty much dominated. All three have a good shot at making the finals if they wrestle well.

Irwin will be more aggressive Saturday. This just wasn't a good situation.

They're a better team than they were last year. That's evident.
