"Brandon Meriweather" is an American football Safety (American football position)/safety for the Washington Redskins of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football for the University of Miami, and was drafted by the New England Patriots with the 24th overall pick in the 2007 NFL Draft. Meriweather has also played for the Chicago Bears.

The tradition at Miami is not to play in a BCS game, but to play in the national championship game. When we don't do that, we're not living up to the tradition that's been set for us.
