We've been ready to go since the last pitch of the College World Series last year. We didn't want to stop.

I think so. I would say it's coming at about the right time.

It feels good. Hopefully tomorrow we won't really need a game-winning hit. We'll get a lot more runs.

The series isn't over. Tomorrow is another day.

It felt good. The way things have been going, I've been hitting the ball well lately and I've been hitting it right at people. To finally get one in the gap, it feels good. To give us a bigger lead felt real good.

Last year opening day was quite an experience. This year I was a lot more relaxed.

People are going to expect a lot out of us. But getting there last year when people didn't expect us to takes a lot of pressure of our backs. Now we can just go out relax and play the game we know how to play.

We are just taking it one pitch at a time, one inning at a time. We are actually drawing closer.

I should have caught the first ball and (shortstop) Adam (Davis) was right there (to turn the double play). To have a second chance, I like that a lot.
