It's not like we're going to sit here on this one and rest on that for a while. We've got to pick back up on Wednesday and come back at them and keep grinding. Because we battled today.

The last two months have let us know we belong. We are a team with confidence that we can go out and compete with anyone. We know we not only have a chance to win, but we have a good chance to win every game we play.

I felt the only way to get better was to play, and that was the best opportunity I had to get playing time.

I just tried to get set and get ready for a fastball. He's (Hernandez) always changing speeds, trying to run something in underneath you.

I came back and wanted to make an impact, and help this team in the end of the year.

Definitely, especially with me being in better shape. I feel more athletic than ever.

Ever since I've known him, I've known first and foremost that he's just a great hitter. Every level I've played at with him, he was just one of the best hitters in the league.

I feel real good right now, not just with the swing or playing outfield or throwing. I feel good physically. I'm healthy. My legs feel good from my feet all the way up through my back.

On the last at-bat, he threw quite a bit of changeups and a good slider that fell off. On the 3-2 count it was a fastball that got up, and I tried to put the barrel on it and not do too much, and it worked out.
