It's fun to watch those guys. They get fired up and it just snowballs. You just want to keep that momentum going.

Roy ran real well. Running that time with a 20-minute rest after the 400 is pretty impressive.

Our depth is as good as any we've had since I took over. In the past, we relied on just winners.

That's a testament to the team. My daughter likes it. She took the trophy home and it's in her room.

[Shavers] has a long memory. He had a horrible MAC meet last year, but he's another guy who trained really hard.

He does better when there's better competition. That hard work pays off. I think he thinks about shot put 20 hours a day.

Our guys like to compete. You could put their mothers out there and they'd want to beat them. That's what I like to see?who wants to compete?
