I just don't think our intensity was there. We were there, we knew what they were going to do, we were ready to play but I just don't think our heart was in it.
That's definitely going to be one of our keys to the game, to take care of the ball.
In reality, all those guys are gone, so you can't say it's revenge. It's a completely new team.
That was fun. That place was going crazy. We were on the bad end of it at that point, but still ...
That zone sagged off us late in the game. We were looking for Tyler, but they had a guy sitting in his lap and a guy behind him. So it was tough to get him the ball.
The 21 offensive rebounds, that was crazy. We can't rely on David and Tyler to get all the rebounds. Some of the guards have to get in there. But 21 offensive rebounds, I mean, that's almost handing them the game.
From day one, we never used that excuse. The excuse that we're a bunch of freshmen and that's why we make mistakes is unacceptable. We're basketball players. We should never play the way we played out there today.
They were three of the quickest guards I've seen.
Hopefully, we're going to bounce back. We're going to get after it, and we're going to come back hard.
