Do we have plans to expand it today? No. Will we in the future if it does well? Of course we will. This is only our second week. We're taking it one step at a time, not five steps at a time.
They have so many weapons that they may be more dangerous than they were last year when they looked to Bobby Gilbert to carry the load.
This is in direct opposition to what, in my mind, is instructionally wise.
We do have other things for our employees to do.
Any time you're put in a pressure situation like this and you answer the phone, it's big for your program. Our kids grew up a lot tonight. They were tired, especially late, but they were very focused.
Every time they won last year was a new experience. They set a good example. The positive example and hard-work ethic has paid off.
I think this division (between the two elementary schools) is both wise and judicious.
We can't simulate what they do [offensively] with JV teams and look teams, so we just tried to work on what they did, ... And we knew offensively we could try to keep theirs off the field because they're very explosive and we match up very well up front.
