"Bob Chapman" is a association football/footballer who played as a defender (football)/defender in the Football League during the 1960s and 1970s, most notably with Nottingham Forest.

He made his debut for Forest in 1964 at the age of 17 years 5 months, which at the time made him the youngest ever Forest player, and he was to go on to make 422 senior appearances for the club (scoring 23 goals).

In 1977 he left Forest to join Notts County.

After a season with County he moved to Shrewsbury Town, before moving to non-league with Burton Albion.

His son Robert Chapman (cricketer)/Robert has played cricket for Nottinghamshire County Cricket Club.
