When he first came up as a sophomore he wasn't a very good hitter. He was weak and he had really slow bat speed. He batted in the nine hole as a sophomore.

He worked himself into the hitter he became. He hit the ball much better as a senior than I would have ever dreamed of as a sophomore.

He's the heart and soul of our club. There's no question about it. The rest of the kids seem to feed off of him.

It's always fun just to win or to beat Skyline. But I'm more concerned about my team, where we're at. After losing two over the weekend we needed this one to keep our playoff chances alive.
