Terrance is coming around for us. We count and depend on him and he's becoming more consistent in his play. He and Patrick being able to hit the outside shots should open up the inside a little more.

I think so. They really wanted it. I don't think it was pride. They don't want to let it go. We might leave it over here (at Culpeper Middle School) so they can see it when we practice here Monday.

I think he deserved it. It's an honor he earned. The thing is coaches can't vote for their own players, so that's a lot of respect from the coaches.

We started kind of slow. We were down at least eight in the first quarter, but we were up 37-28 at the half. We held them to just eight points in the second quarter.

He missed that last half of the season so he had a lot to make up for not only on the basketball court and in the classroom. I think he's accomplished that. If he hadn't come through for us, I think we would have been disappointed but we also would have kept on him.

We made a good run there in the fourth quarter, but it just came too late. If we had made that run in the third period we might have been OK.

We played real good defense.

What turned us around was they stopped shooting the ball so well. There wasn't a whole lot we could do. We went to man, we went to zone but they just shot the ball so well. I just feel our team is in excellent shape. I kept telling the guys we think we're in better shape than any team we play, and we're hoping they wear down in the fourth quarter. It went into overtime and that's what happened.

I thought we got out to a good start, we had our outside shot. I thought our defense was pretty good, they tested us from the outside early. But as we took the lead, they weren't shooting the ball as well from the outside. It was a good win for us.
