I'm merely running for a more cohesive unit. It's not a Democratic or Republican thing to have more efficient government. It's something everybody wants. Everybody wants some fiscal responsibility. That will strike a chord with all the voters.

I think I have a lot more experience than he does with municipal matters, having four years in government already. However, he's an extremely popular and a wise man, and he'll be a formidable opponent.

Now that he's no longer a factor, it appears that it's strictly going to be a choice between what Judge Walker has to offer and what I have to offer.
