"William (Bill) Sorensen" was a New Zealand rugby league player who represented New Zealand national rugby league team/his country in the 1954 Rugby League World Cup/1954, 1957 Rugby League World Cup/1957 and 1960 Rugby League World Cup/1960 World Cups. His brother Dave Sorensen/Dave also played for the Kiwis as did two of his nephews; Dane Sorensen/Dane and Kurt Sorensen/Kurt.

The thing that makes it impressive is it's pretty much all of North Dakota, South Dakota, Nebraska, and Kansas. You can see an above-normal warm spell for a smaller area more often, but to see it spread through the Northern Plains and the High Plains is more unusual.
