She only threw 63 pitches tonight. With so many five inning games, it's hard to get her innings.
We're ready to play. Our girls understand there are no nights off. Anyone can be beaten in this league. Things have to come together.
A lot depends on what-ifs. A lot of people picked us to win, so we won't disappoint them.
Well, she hit it so high that I didn't know if it was going to go over the fence. Then, when it finally hit I didn't know which side of the fence it was on. But they quit chasing it, so that gave me a pretty good idea.
We didn't get our pitchers any hits in the second game. We played a good team in Sheridan in the first game and had hit the ball well.
That game didn't mean anything to us, other than it's just nice to get the win wherever you're at. Playing doubleheaders just gives you a chance to do some other things.
Well, they always give us a tough game.
We had an opportunity to do some different things tonight. We made some mistakes, but we'll learn from them. We have to keep getting better each game.
We started slow tonight. It took our bats a while to get going, but now I'm looking down the lineup and a couple kids went 3-for-4, so it didn't turn out too bad.
